Elon Musk has announced that xAI's Grok 5 will launch by the end of 2025, asserting its superiority over OpenAI's GPT-5. Musk took to X to declare that Grok 4, released two weeks ago, already surpasses GPT-5 in intelligence, with Grok 4 Heavy outperforming it at launch.

Grok 4 boasts a 100-fold increase in training capacity, enhanced reasoning benchmarks, and multi-modal system integration, enabling it to tackle complex tasks more effectively. Musk predicts Grok will pioneer groundbreaking technologies by 2026.
